Father's Day Brunch Burger - June 2014

Skip the restaurant crowds and make this for dad!

Ingredients-
- 1 pound(s) 80%
lean ground beef
- 8 ounce(s) sweet Italian sausage (casings -removed
- Kosher salt & freshly ground black
pepper
- 4 slice(s) Sharp Cheddar
- 4 English Muffins toasted
- 4 slices tomatoes
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
For the dressing:
- Stir the mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish in a small bowl and
set aside.
For the burgers:
- Mix together ground beef, sausage and 1/4 teaspoon each salt and
pepper. Divide the meat into 4 pieces and form each into a patty.
- Grill the burgers to your liking (I recommend medium well). Top
with a slice of cheese and continue to cook until melted.
- Spread the bottom half of toasted English muffins with some of
the mustard dressing and top with a slice of tomato and a burger patty.
- Cook the eggs to your liking in a large skillet.
- Place the egg on each burger and finish with bacon slice and some
baby arugula and top with the other half of English muffin.
